RIBELLE RUN GTX WOMAN is the perfect short/medium distance trail running shoe whenever wet conditions demand. Waterproof and lightweight, thanks to Gore-Tex Invisible Fit technology combined with a light synthetic mesh that’s resistant to abrasion. Exceptional grip, traction and stability, even on the most technical terrain, thanks to the Presa® outsole.
Upper
The upper is built with Sock-Fit LW by SCARPA construction, featuring a lightweight and super breathable mesh bootie with heat-sealed reinforcements, which guarantees a precise and even wrap around the foot, while still providing outstanding comfort and flex at the ankle collar, tongue and forefoot. The shoe is built to wrap the foot with precision thanks to it’s reduced volume fit, perfect for this more technically oriented shoe. The heel is stabilized by an TPU band that completely wraps the shoe.
Lining
GORE-TEX invisible fit technology offers complete protection from inclement weather with a fit and feel same as non-protective running shoes. Less pressure marks thanks to absence of stitching points along ankle and heel and wider toe box. Fast dry-out times (up to 50% less than standard construction).
Lacing
Fast Lacing System: self-locking lacing system that allows the elastic lace to slide quickly and perfect wrapping.
Sole
PRESA® TRN-01 sole made with high performance rubber outsole, with 4 mm lugs and excellent grip on both dry and wet surfaces. Tested by the best and brought to the limit on technical and uneven terrain.

Technologies
Gore-Tex®
Gore-Tex® fabrics offer long-lasting, comfortable weather protection. The technology is based on an extremely thin membrane made of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE). Its pores are too small for rain to penetrate, yet big enough for perspiration to pass right through. Gore-Tex® products have a high waterproof rating (water column) and can withstand up to 28,000 mm of water pressure – more than monsoon rain. The membrane is bonded between an outer fabric and a high-performance lining. Depending on the construction, the result is either a 2-layer, 2.5-layer or 3-layer laminate. Gore-Tex® in a 3-layer construction offers a combination of enhanced durability and high breathability, while the 2-layer laminate provides lightweight weather protection.
PRESA
PRESA® is SCARPA’s proprietary outsole brand, born out of 80+ years of technical outsole design experience, to deliver the best traction solutions available. IKS technology features seven internal impact absorption “domes” in the outsole and midsole that function just like shock absorbers, compressing upon impact to absorb energy. The impact zones are anatomically mapped to provide additional shock exactly where it is needed the most, while maintained stability outside those zones. The midsole material itself is dual-density EVA, providing additional lightweight shock absorption. Incorporated into the midsole is a Dynamic Stabilizer Torsion frame made of TPU (thermoplastic urethane). The DST frame wraps under the arch and extends back along both sides of the heel, for outstanding rearfoot stability and torsion control. The lug design of the outsole provides confidence-inspiring traction via 4mm deep lugs and SuperGum rubber compound, which balances high friction with durability.
Exo
Upper construction system designed and developed by Scarpa. Lateral protections (insert or thermowelded cage) combined with upper, create an exoskleton that better protect, support and contain the foot.
